| | | A Tribute To Mario Gougeon | | | | On March 11th, 2007, THE JOEL JEREMY MEMORIAL FUND lost it's best friend with the passing of MARIO GOUGEON, 64. Mario was the owner of the White Lake Inn and for the past 13 years he and his family and staff have graciously hosted our annual fundraiser, The Snowball Dance. Together with Mario we have raised tens of thousands of dollars and have helped many, many area families with serious illness. He was a generous supporter and great promoter of the Joel Jeremy Memorial Fund. He was truly "ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS". Things WILL NOT be the same without him. You know the song "ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG". They say there is a reason for that. He will now receive his reward for the good things he's done for many, many people. Rest in peace. We will all miss him. | |
